My grandpa turn 80 yrs old this year and we just had a big celebrate with him two weeks ago.Dad is the organizer for grandpa birthday celebration, we had a great dinner in a Chinese restaurant, good number 8 dishes for that night.
Of course, invited relatives and family friends for this event. Total eleven tables fully seated with all of them. Frankly speaking, there's a lot of people and I don't think that I know all of them..
Too bad, I'm busying eating and got no chance to take the pictures of the foods. Haha, but still manage to take the picture of my grandpa birthday cake :)
Left picture : The cake look very nice. I'm not sure is my aunt baked the cake or they ordered from bakery. But that night my aunt prepared a lot of "Pau"/ "Shou Tao 壽桃" pau and red eggs. (I'm sorry, only able use HanYuPingYing, as I haven't install the language tools to type Chinese words.Phew, lucky that I'm still manage to google the words and copy paste here)
Did you notice that the cake in a shape of chinese words "壽"? haha.. ya, you're right.
Today, my colleague- Ali he is so nice treat us a cake and this cake is baked by his wife. According to him, his wife got take order home made cake for birthday cakes and wedding cakes.Haha, today he bring us the sample to try out and advertizing to us.
Right Picture: The cake indeed look very nice and girlish. Romantic-nia.. haha, pink roses on top. Looks like wedding cakes or for valentine's day.
