Beauty: April freebies from Clinique

Muahaha :D Forgot to tell you that yesterday I also went to Clinique counter to get the freegift neh!

Oh ya, they also owed me the samples for mascara 1.7g and Turnaround concentrate 7ml free gift. So, I made a call and ask them and confirm with then only go there to get it. In the website stated something.. hehe so they suppose to give me these. *blek* :p

Beauty: Shu Uemura workshop + Haul

I bought Shu Uemura products last month and they're having promotion set and the Pink Collection. If I'm not mistake, purchased with MYR250 (inclusive pink collection items), free three pieces skincare in travel size and one section make-up or skincare workshop.

Well, I didn't receive my freebies on the spot as the SA says that the gift is not yet arriave and the make-up workshop is 1-1 and need to make appointment for this. I have collected my free gift about 2 weeks ago as the SA called me to collect it. I'm rather disappointed when I receive the free gift, because it is very small! As you can see the mouse i holding is much more bigger then the pink cleansing oil.

As for the workshop, I have choose to have make-up workshop which I just attended yesterday. I also get myself a single color eyeshadow yesterday. This is the color the beauty stylist pick and wear on my eye as highlight during the workshop. It is white matte texture. Look very natural and I bought myself one of this.

This picture taken at home, after the 1-1 makeup workshop. Ohya, I dye my hair few days ago.Look darker right? Is very deep brown close to black color, look decent and healthy. Not so yellowish as the previous one.

Beauty: MAC 'IN MODE' beauty workshop

After all the stress and bad thing happened in office. Let's get back to my beauty topic..I attended a beauty workshop held by MAC, I would say it is pretty long time ago.

Workshop: MAC 'IN MODE'
Date: 25th JUNE 2008
Time: 11 am
Location: Persada Convention Centre

Ops.. eventually changed to Pan Pacific Hotel. I'm the early bird, first section of this workshop even at 11am. I would say it is good to be the 1st section, because the brushes and tools and even the make-up products we use is totally brand new. Ya, i think is more hygiene.

The beauty instructor who gave the talk, can't deny that she gave very good introduction on the products and and keep emphasize how good is this and that. She a Malay and from JB too, but work with MAC in KL. Haha sorry, can't remember her name.

In this work shop, they provided notes, paper, pencil and MAC handbook. Also, they give away door gift at the end of the event... The door gift is small samples are :
1) Fast response eye cream , 3ml
2) Strobe cream , 6ml

=> what the *duh*, please don't say something nice just to make yourself sleep better at night!

Well, seriously we don't like this guy from top top management and caused so many people jobless.Due to the business strategy, this week the top management come to our office and made official announcement on business closure for the office & operation over here.

I want to thanks them, because I received my FY09 birthday present from them. The effective date of the WFR is x-June-09.Should I say "Damn"? or "Thank"?

Beauty: Budget Beauty Buy

Hi everyone! As you know that economy is bad now and a lot of the people lost their job. Sigh, I have to think twice when shopping , as I'm not sure that I might be the one of them, jobless soon?? Well, it does not stop me to buying beauty items, haha my hobby!! Just I have to spend wisely, need to compare the prices (yup, I'm specialize in..... haha, once you know what kind of job I'm working), and I will wait for discount then only grab it, I mean buy it...

This weekend, I got myself a magazine - one of the source to update myself on the latest beauty and fashion trends!. Normally, I will purchase Japanese magazines or Chinese magazine - (Japanese translated into Chinese), because I love to read about latest Japanese beauty products.

Over here in M'sia, There's not much book store selling Japanese mag. My boyfriend will get me Jp mag in Kinokuniya when we're in S'pore. It is consider expensive when you convert SGD to MYR. Ohya, the magazine I just bought is 'Mina', Malaysia edition. Last time they used to have Taiwan and HongKong version only and they just launching M'sia ed this year. I'm so happy! coz can get the latest mag of the month and pay lesser (is about Rm9 for west M'sia). Okay, let me show you few pictures on the cover and beauty contents.

Okay, I'm gonna stop here, just highlight few pages on the beauty products and make-up tutorial. There's also have the fashion section that teach you how to mix and match your cloth/dress/shoes.

Finally, let me share with you what I bought on this weekend...ta-dah~!

1. Eyelash curler
==> This is to curler is smaller, designed the lower/inner lashes or maybe when you're wearing your false lashes?

2. Magic sticker for hair?
==> Haha I have no idea how to named it. Basically is to hold your hair and avoid to fall down when you're make-up. After you remove it, won't left a unwanted curve on your hair.

3. Rimmel eyeliner (Two-tine eye definer, color: #003)
==> This seem like very convenient, because 2in1 consist of black and white color. Black use as upper eyeliner while white color for lower inner eye.

4. Majolica Majorca Nail color (#PK104)
==> It is a pink-red nail color and contain a lot of glitters. make your nails blink blink ;)

5. Dual Fibre Cheek Brush (Glow)
==> Look similar to the MAC brush, but cheaper. The bristle is made by synthetic/Goat mix. This is my second pcs. I would says that this brush is multi-purpose, can use it for liquid foundation or blusher. I intend to use one for blusher/face powder and this new one use it for liquid foundation.

Okay, finished.! All these items are inexpensive. I get it from drugstores/market.
